Approximately, it takes 7 hours to cover the
400 Km of this route, if you do not decide to go looking for the beautiful
sloth bear in the popular Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary, which is a major
attraction along this route.
The Anantapur Route:
Popular because of its smooth driving roads,
this route again covers over 400 Kms in about 7 hours as it takes you across
quite a few interesting places including the Lepakshi temple, Gooty Fort,
Bellary Fort, Chintala Venkataramana Swamy Temple before entering Hampi at the
famed Hippie Island, probably the place for you if you are in Hampi to find
adventure.
